Students will be working in teams to create structures we need in order to get from one place to another. Students will be building and then testing their designs. Students will learn about technology, terminology, and engineering through hands-on practice. Once the designs have been completed and tested, students will use computer software to develop structures that can withstand weight. They will have their plan in their notebook and will use TinkerCAD to create something. Students will then use the 3D printer in order to formulate a replica of the structure built in TinkerCAD earlier. At the end of camp students will take home an object built by the 3D printer as a parting gift.
